Went just before closing on a Sunday. It was nice and clean. Not alot of people but I figure was because of closing time. Could have been more clear where the check outs were.
The ridgedale jcp is a lot smaller than my store. The junior and misses sections were small and didnt flow well. I had a hard time finding where things were. However when checking I was helped and treated like a customer and associate. The ladies working had great customer service, were friendly, and chatted about jcp related thibgs. When my discoubt card wouldn't read she used my ID to get it. It was refreshing to check out and feel like a valued customer.
I work at a different jcp and wanted to visit other stores just to see if there's anything different or could help my store.
Only one register on a level? Almost impossible to find someone to help. I am almost ready to go somewhere else.
Extremely rough experience. Luckily I didn't need any assistance outside of paying for my items but I'm not sure I could have found an employee if I needed to ask a question or check on a product size. The cash register experience was painful, as the associate was mostly worried about signing me up for a credit card or rewards. I was over-charged, but just wanted to leave so badly that I didn't even bring it up. I now understand why this company seems to be going out of business.
My store treats us like an inconvineice and puts strict guidelines and rules on an associate shopping as a customer.
Bad customer service today I came here to get my watch battery replaced fit my watch they said sorry we cannot replace the battery for it because we don’t carry that name brand any more they told my to go on the watch makers web site I stormed out of there and went to Macy’s they were able to replace the battery for my watch it TOOK 10 MINS to replace it!
