My favorite breakfast place in the Twin Cities. I've been going to this location for over 25 year's. This location always trains their employees well, and the chef's always provide you with a high quality meal. I'm very picky about the doneness of my breakfast items (eggs, hash browns, and toast). Most other places I have to be specific about how I prefer those items prepared. Not this restaurant. I never have to tell them how I like my meal prepared, they just do it right - every single time. The chef's here have always been trained very well; and I feel that's a rarity these days. I moved out of state so I rarely have the opportunity to eat there anymore, but when I do I always try to remember to tip the chef's! (forgot last time. Sorry!)
Food was fine but the service is always slower than what it should be. Was there at 8am on Thanksgiving morning with the kids and food took a good 25 minutes to come out. It was not busy at all.
The wait and host staff are always friendly and punctual, even during large rushes. Parking is ample, and the restaurant is in a convenient location, and easy to see from the road.
My son loves going here after hockey every weekend. Employees were friendly and management handles situations very well. The service is fast especially on Sunday mornings when they are packed!
The food was very good as well as service. Nice place to meet for coffee or lunch or dinner.
We entered the restaurant and the manager was going to seat a couple that had just walked through the door behind us. Body language told us that the manager was less than thrilled to have us. Over heard the manager talking about a larger group coming in and how they received no notice. Thats the restaurant business lady! We waited an hour for our food and when we asked about it the manager said as the server had been bringing it out "ask and you shall receive" Service was terrible server checked on us only after we got our food.
