I was looking for the perfect desk for months. A salesperson at this store directed me to an office furniture catalog, which had many choices. Not only did I find what I wanted, shipped to the store for free, but it is also a great value. I found all of the staff to be friendly and helpful.
Recently purchased a sectional w/cuddler. Matt our sales person was super easy to work with. From sales to delivery everything went perfectly and delivery was exactly when they said it would be. The automated calls let you know almost to the minute when the truck will arrive. The delivery guys were nice, careful and clean. I will be back! Thanks Becker
We just purchased a wicker grouping for our sun room and a living room accent chair. This was our second experience with Becker Minnetonka and both have been great. This time we dealt with Denise, who was great. She was friendly and stepped away briefly to give us time to discuss items we were considering. No high pressure. We experienced a problem with the sectional we purchased in September and received good customer service in resolving the problem. A representative was sent to our home who quickly assessed the problem as low density foam cushions and ordered replacements. This customer service is why we went back to look at additional furniture.
I have never encountered a worse purchasing experience than with our recent interaction with Becker Furniture World in Minnetonka. We recently purchased a lot of furnishings from them — over $10k. After the standard 4-6 weeks for delivery of one piece, it arrived. It became apparent a mistake had been made in the manufacturing. We were told it would require another 4-6 weeks. That time has come and gone and still no remedy. Mistakes are made and they are forgivable. In the big scope of things, it's not a big deal. What we don't like is the utter lack of communication from the store. At each point, I've had to call them for update. They apologize, but they don't act. They respond with lame comments about "calling me tomorrow." But, they never phone back. Maybe all of their horrible customer service has been reserved for me; others may not have had problems. All I can say is I would never under any circumstance purchase from them again.
Ben (sales person) addressed all my concerns about buying a power recliner. We spent a good amount of time comparing recliners that would best match my needs. The size, color, and quality were all covered. The recliners are on order and I hope that they (bought two recliners) work out well.
