If youre looking for an understaffed clinic with a friendly but helpless staff. This is the place for you. No one there was capable of giving me any answer without the doctors imput. My doctor was curt and unhelpful. I was abandoned in my room for 50 minutes. The whole visit took 2.5 hours with 7 minutes of face time with the doctor and no helpful advice.
Don't. Go. Here. Last night I reached out to North Memorial Health to try to start figuring out why I've been so sick. I called first and answered questions about my symptoms. A nurse informed me I needed a CT scan of my stomach right away. When I arrived I was told that was not the plan, and they didn't seem to take me or my symptoms seriously. They wanted to draw blood/start an IV, pee in a cup...etc. Which was fine until they sent every nurse in to TRY to start a line. After being poked 6 TIMES, spending over 5 minutes moving around the needle to try to find my vein, I was in tears. This whole process took a HOUR AND 1/2. After this I informed my nurse I wanted to be discharged. She brought the doctor in, and he proceeded to tell me THIS WAS NORMAL and that I should stay and continue testing. What testing?! Did you want me to sit and be your practice dummy for your nurses? Continuously getting poked? No thank you. I have had an IV MANY times and never had anyone having a problem finding my veins. I have woken up today to bruised arms and hands and am regretting my decision to ever call in the first place.
I went to NMHUC for some assistance regarding tooth pain. It was not busy when I visited and the entire process was over in less than a half hour. The tech that assisted me was rather annoying and finished my sentences for me when I was talking. Pretty rude. The doctor was very brief in her assessment of my issue and seemed to make the right choice in providing relief for my issue while also giving me info on how to expedite the process of my dental issue.
Do not wate your time! Very poorly ran. Have been coming for 2 and a 1/2 years and I am on my 4th doctor . Was told the 1st 2 were no longer with the company and the 3rd was a fill in. I have health issues that have been going on for some time now and without seeing a consistent primary provider I have been passed through the system. The last appointment I was at when I got in the Room I was told that they should have made my visit for 40 minutes instead of 20 so was rushed through. Mind you my name was swollen 3 times its normal size. As nice as the last doctor was it did not compensate for the lack Of care I have constantly got. This place is 3 minutes from my home so loved the convenience factor...AND THEN TODAY I showed up at 9:25 for an appointment I thought was at 9:30 but was at 9:20 today. Regard less of the time I stood in line for 16 minutes before I seen the 1st lady at the desk Only to be told that my appointment was considered a no show.... I was 5 minutes late they did not even check me and tell after 940 ! I rearranged my entire day to accommodate for this appointment and yet once again my health care is being neglected because of this establishment and how poorlyit is ran. I realize I was a couple minutes late but considering how many times I have been pushed through the system I expect results!
There is nothing urgent about this urgency center. They have a posh lobby with full wall monitors proclaiming how quickly they take care of their customers and others don't. My wait was 4 hours. This was not a fluke. My wife went there and after waiting for an hour she just left. Very frustrating when you're in pain. Once I was actually seen by a doctor, the medical service itself was fine.
